Educators Congress at Mariapolis Pierro, My Impression

 The Congress was very good to me, Almost all topics touched me. The setup of topics starting from meditation from Chiara Lubich, talk and experiences from participants and finally group meeting on the same topic was very helpful to most of us and has made the topics to be clearly understood.

Two topics touched me the most, these are Jesus Forsaken and Jesus in the midst, both in education process. It is true there is a Jesus Forsaken in our education process. Jesus Forsaken is unveiling himself in our schools, to our students and teachers. The morals of both Teachers and students are degrading, the value of education is not cared anymore, students wants to get higher marks for anycost including improper conducts and teachers are caring for salaries and allowances instead of their primary activity of teaching. It is real, this education process requires an intervention of Jesus himself as Chiara told us "The only teacher is Jesus Christ", thus let's all turn to him.
The congress did not end there with Jesus Forsaken alone, but it gave us a solution. We should love and know how to live with HIM [Jesus Forsaken]. The Congress taught us how to bring Jesus in our midst within our education process. Jesus in the misdst of teachers, in the midst of students and within the education process. One method, and very working from the experiences we received, is by using The Cube of Love. We should apply the cube of love in schools and families. This will intensify Jesus in our Midst.
And by knowing that Jesus is the only teacher, let's more and more put ouselves in HIM [Jesus in our Midst] and receive HIS teachings and rectify our education system.

The congress was concluded by Education for Piece with the Pact of Piece. Each one of us made a pact of reconciliation with some one. This activity was very important to us. It was a means of a starting again, entering a new life. It is necessary for piece builders. And we committed ourselves by signing on a New Humanity flip-chart.surrounded by the cube of love face-words which are:

1. To love everyone
2. To make ourselves one with others
3. To be the first to love
4. To love your neighbor as yourself
5. To Love the enemies
6. To do unto others what you would like them do to you.
